This is the only true Broadspeed GTS ever built (the Australian car that I already painted being a converted GT). Built by Ralph Broad (founder of Broadspeed, the tuning company) in Birmingham, it was intended to be just the prototype for a larger production, but it got virtually no interest. Although Broad knew he had achieved something great, believed in his creation, the car delivered the promised speed, and critics called it "the ultimate Mini conversion", the fact that it was almost as expensive as an E-type (and still being a Mini at the end of the day) meant that no order was registered. During 1966 it was raced for a while in England by John Fitzpatrick and Tony Bloor, but in '67 it was sold to Tonio Hildebrand of the Nederlands. This is a pack of several skins this car sported from 1966 to 1970:#120 is from the 1966 Brands Hatch race, in the hands of John Fitzpatrick, with Broadspeed racing colours of metallic regal red and silver.#34 is from the May 1967 Zandvoort race, where it came 1st in FL1.3, one of its first races right after being sold to Hildebrand and were it had an epic battle with an Elan. #7 is from the 1969 racing season in Holland in the hands of Tonio Hildebrand. In the previous year it raced in the same colour but with yellow roundels and the number 17.#50 is from the 1970 racing season in Holland in the hands of Tonio Hildebrand. The colours are Red-White and Blue as the Dutch flag.I released earlier the #34 skin, with an incorrect black colour. If you have it you can either delete it and just keep the right colour or, if you liked it, keep it, it wont interfere with the other skins, it's up to you. Some more information about this car can be found here: http://maximummini.blogspot.pt/2013/05/today-46-years-ago.htmlAgain as the Australian build GTS, when I tried to build the broadspeed_tex.gtl with files numbered correctly, I don't understand why, it always crashed, so I had to grab one of the original skins and just replace the different textures. Not ideal, but I think it will work. I also painted the interior black, as it turns out that was the correct colour. This skin pack wouldn't have been possible without the unparalleled help of alecissigonis82, who is working very, VERY close to this car and shared all this car's info, lost photos and racing history he relentlessly searched
