BASKERVILLE RACEWAY FOR rFACTOR :This is a re-creation of the Baskerville Raceway in Tasmania, Australia. The circuit is located in a natural amphitheatre, is 2.09 kilometres in length and has elevation changes of about 36 metres. It is my first attempt at track building, and is best described as a work-in-progress. As time permits, and as I enhance my expertise and experience with Bobs Track Builder, it will be updated and enhanced accordingly.The track layout, elevations and cambers etc. are as close as possible to the actual track. Terrain, objects and scenery are visually similar to the actual occurrences, as they existed at the end of 2015. Some pit buildings,including the control tower, pit garage, club rooms and scrutineering bay are accurately modelled on the real ones. Other objects are courtesy of the many available x-packs from the online community.The track itself was described by 1980 Formula 1 world champion Alan Jones as one of the best small circuits in the world, when he raced there in 1982.Any feedback on this track for rFactor is welcome : suggestions, bugs, criticisms etc.
