Roebling Road Raceway, Bloomingdale Georgia USA. 3.25km or 2.02 Mile with fast and never ending cornersThe is a conversion on the internet of the rFactor version of Roebling with some serious problems. As I liked the track I made a conversion for private use... Than I found the AIW also had a problem and I asked NeelJ for advice. He pointed that fast track and corridors also were missing in the AIW.Intrigued by the puzzle I started to dig deeper and learned how to make a new AIW with the rFactor AIW editor. So now... I ended with a complete GTR2 track of Roebling Road Raceway and I like to share it.I drive only Formula 1 mods in GTR2 and with high downforce the tires really heat up (160 degree!!). If other mods have too cold tires, I suggest to edit the TireHeatMult variable in the GDB file. What to say about this track, well it is addictive. Every time I had to check something after 3dSimed I kept on driving till I realized I was only checking something. In the meantime I have driven the track 860 times by now. I used the obvious youtube videos to make the changes to the track, pit entrance and grass around the track. Before I wish you happy racing the fast and sweeping turns of Roebling Road Raceway, I would like to share some information found on the wikipedia page about this nice little track:Roebling Road Raceway, formerly Savannah International Raceway, is a 2.02-mile (3.25 km) road racing course located just outside Bloomingdale, Georgia. Opened in 1959, Roebling Road is relatively unique amongst racetracks in that it lacks any accommodations for spectators; there are no grandstands, no picnicking areas, nor any other sort of viewing facilities. The track was designed by John Rueter and held its first Sports Car Club of America event June 1112, 1960. The track was financed by and named after SCCA supporter Robert Roebling, great-grandson of John A. Roebling.Roebling Road hosts events more than 300 days a year. Events range from media, pro teams testing cars, club racing, and performance driving education events. Club races include the SCCA, the BMW Car Owners Club of America, the Porsche Club of America, the North American Sports Car Association, and the Vintage Drivers Club of America. The track is used by cars, motorcycles andWKA karts. The PBS television series MotorWeek records its winter track-testing segments at Roebling Road.[souce Wikipedia]
